Type:Round bar
Delivery condition: Annealed black surface/Turned bright surface/Q+T
Products Description
H21 is a hot working die steel containing tungsten. The steel increases the Mo content by 2%, and properly adds the Mn content, which improves the high temperature mechanical properties of the steel and meets the needs of mass production of aluminum alloy die-casting molds. The steel has high thermal elasticity, high thermal stability, good wear resistance and technological properties, and the working temperature reaches 650 ℃.

Characteristics of H21 die steel:
The steel section can be hardened below 80mm. This is enough for the surface layer to require large top forging dies, hot pressing dies and flat forging machine dies with high hardness and high wear resistance. This kind of steel has high transformation temperature and good thermal fatigue resistance against cold and hot alternation. This kind of steel can be used to make punch and die with high stress under high temperature, but not subject to impact load, such as punch and die used on flat forging machine, insert, copper alloy extrusion die, die casting die, such as reverse extrusion die; It can also be used as a hot metal cutter under high temperature. Tungsten-containing hot-working die steel, which increases the content of Mo by 2%, and properly adds the content of Mn to improve the high temperature mechanical properties of the steel, and meets the needs of mass production of aluminum alloy die-casting molds. The steel has high thermal strength, high thermal stability, good wear resistance and technological properties, and the working temperature reaches 650 ℃
H21 steel, a tungsten containing hot work die steel, contains a lot of chromium and tungsten elements that are easy to form carbides, so it has high strength and hardness at high temperature, and its hardness reaches HB-300 at 650 ℃, but its toughness and plasticity are poor.
